Bang the door, do not shut the window

Internet is a great way to meet bright minds & form friendships only flaw is that based on written words such friendships are highly fragile, an innocent remark misunderstood & one can be shut out for good.

I agree there has to be space to nurture relationships. In interaction between Indians & foreigners misunderstanding develops because Indians tend to be informal & indiscreet very soon, also they share their personal details & expect others to share the same with a brief interaction & are nosy( to be polite ) may be because of our joint family system or sharing between siblings/friends we do not feel the need to be cautious.

Among Indians misunderstanding develops between members of opposite sex. Female are always suspicious of male intentions even when one is attracted to the mind of a lady or feels emotionally attached, she thinks being an object of lust. As no opportunity is given to the offending person & it is very easy to blacklist him the contact comes to an abrupt end, very sad indeed.

I often try to be more discrete after losing any such friend but the two sides of mind keep fighting & the same mistake is repeated again & again like driving a car with hand brake on. Mind fails to realize the lack of thrust or the blinking red light on the dash board I admit the offended party drops subtle broad hints or may be some plain speaking but the other side fails to stop when the interaction ends one is miserable.

Of course, one can be wiser & may meet other equally bright minds but an orange can never replace an apple though both are nourishing.

” jindagi ke safar main gujar jaate hain jo mukam wo fir nahin aate”

We can never revisit the mile stones we have left behind. We may brood & feel sad till eternity afterwards, a futile exercise, indeed.

I think you have realised your shortcoming as you say you keep on repeating the same mistake again and again.Once you wil get rid of this habit there will be no more misundrstanding

The Indian urban and educated female is invariably snobby and plays very hard to get. This is because the sex ratio is against them. It is a constant struggle for the Indian male to find a partner and sustain the relationship because women always keep them on their toes. After all they have choices.

i find this remark offensive gaurav
naturally if some one has choices she will go for the best else she is dumb experience is a strange teacher gives a comb once we become bald
each person has a unique personality there is a hair line difference between being friendly & flirt
often one is hit by a sniper fire when he is well within loc but out in an open to survey the field
in relationships\friendships cultivated over net one has nothing to go by except
exchange of messages either one can be reserve & lose on friendship or exchange views & share emotion\feelings
the point i am trying to make is that if offense is caused one is not given a chance to make amends the door is banged & so is the window for good

Pain , life & death are all four letter words not joy or death
i am not saying that death is bliss or pain is welcome but both must be acknowledged & respected & not shunned

sir,
snobbishness has got nothing to do with misunderstanding
i consider it to be prudent on the part of any one to be prudent on net more so for female
so far men are seldom targets of abuse though the time may come very soon
women are unsafe even in heaven with a womenizer of a king called indra
so women pl do take care & have a safe journey in real as well as in virtual world
pl pick your friends with care & never trust any one not even yourselves
