God the root cause of all confusion
Before you curse me under the breath please hold your horses
I am not saying that I am a non believer
I do believe that there is some power which runs the universe with a clock work precision
We call such power god
Now one question is it away from the universe or is it nothing but universe described as a whole
In hindu philosophy we say that the universe is composed of six elements earth, fire , water , sky , space.wind
The six legs of the chair support it
So we take them as nature or god & worship them together or separately
People also worship rivers, cow, tree , stones for the benefit they derive from them
Any concept of seeking boon may be an attempt to think positively & to implant a thought in the subconscious mind
I think all these elements are interdependent
let me ask who created the sea answer is rivers let us keep going back wards we will come back to the point we begin our journey
a circle has no beginning or end
if god created universe then who created god
is he self created or is he out side the per view of creation or destruction what happened before big bang we do not have an answer?
i feel just like sea has no separate existence other than the vast body of water so is god which has no other existence apart from universe
each drop of water is part of the sea but is not sea
the sea it self is nothing but water but as a water body & not as a drop of water
just like all the fingers together is fist but fist can be conceived only as a collection of fingers
I do believe that if we respect the laws of nature it will be benevolent else it will destroy us
Now why do we seek god
I do that for three reasons
1 to maintain my balance in all circumstances
2 to implant positive thoughts in my subconscious mind
3 to maintain a positive feeling towards every one even the food I consume
As this simplistic explanation satisfies my curiosity I am happy & contended
My quest of god thus ends here as of now
