I confess I get confused when faced with love & god, death & lies I can deal with
I know passion also infatuation may be obsession but LOVE ?
Remains a black hole for me(no pun intended pl )
The closest I can come to is being sensitive enough to sacrifice any thing
May be love between radha Krishna but it was myth you will say
Ok mira bai ditto it may be mental imbalance you will say
Fine, love of mother for child or of soldiers for the country
Love for hobby say any adventure sport, researchers , Columbus
But it is their calling
Ok aspiration for salvation?
Again delusion
Social service of the kind bapu or mother teressa did
Now we are making sense
So love is selfless & not selfish
We can rise & not fall in love
So when we talk of love between chand & fiza or between the infamous professors of Patna University & Julie his student my mind goes for a toss
All I can say is that man is not a rational animal
Else why chand will give up every thing for a lady (feminists Pl excuse for this love appears to be skin deep)
Or Julie will fall for a person his father’s age is beyond me (who was not rich nor she was beautiful)
So is the decision of the university to expel him
What if he had continued with the affair?
What if it had never come to light?
What if he had broken off once caught?
We have cabinet minister’s chief ministers or even prime ministers who are supposed to have had affairs when in office
They were not required to give it up even 50 years back when we were much more conservative
Gandhi ji could get away with his experience with Brahma charya /celibacy while keeping him in the company of nude (so I have read) girls much junior to him

The professor was guilty of bigamy
I do not think he had converted
But if he had? He still had had an affair with his student
Is it wrong to fall in love
