Good buy morality! I am amazed at the brazen manner in which left is defending Mr Vijayan or NCP dithered over the suspension of Mr Patil. We find that scandals are the hall mark of any successful politician or bureaucrat from Shibu Soren to Lalu, Mayawati , Jailalita, Raja, Sukhram, Ajit Jogi etc. I wonder if it is a huge task to find a clean person in public life as if politics and morality are mutually exclusive.

It is shameful the way DMK haggled over seats publicly and TMC privately. Meira kumar was appointed as a minister but was asked to resign shortly so that Mr Jana can be made a minister. Now having tested blood he wants nothing less than a cabinet rank (just like Ram sent in exile on the day of his coronation only in this case the story had a happy ending as Mrs. Kumar was given the glorified post of speaker).

The same Mr Pawar who raised the bogey of Ms Sonia Gandhi being a foreign national has no problem in joining hands with her, also Mr. Sangma in permitting his daughter to be a cabinet minister. Even kids in a birthday party are better behaved and have a sense of proprietary.

I wonder why we do not boycott election for a change instead of electing such shameless and spineless characters in public life who aspire to be our leaders and lead to us to hell.
