NO no to NANO
I was amused to see that day,Mr Tata told that he may have to pull out of Bengal he got invitation from number of states but no one approached tmc expressing his desire to take up the unfinished project.

Mr. Tata may not be able to take away Tata center, the Kolkata head office of Tata group but he can sell the same & make it Bata center but perhaps no more Tata centers will come up in the state.

The issue is now not of 400 acres of land but 4 Cr votes. I wonder why for so many days no one was bothered about the project & why so much commotion now I wonder who is bothered about the fate of all those associated with the project.

Does TMC has a plan B?I bet they don’t.

It is easy to ride a tiger but difficult to get off.

I think now they are at a point of no return & will be happy if I have to eat my words. I also wonder what interest the assorted politicians & other groups have in the project there political success does not depend on the same & they may in cash the IPO sooner rather than later.

All national leaders are seasoned politicians it is not easy to fool them as they are the masters of the game. If there is a contest for double speak politicians will win hands down. The fact remains that even the most skilled juggler can keep multiple balls in the air for a limited time & the law of gravitation will prevail in the end.

What happens in the end is anybody’s guess.

Tata group has spent a fortune on leveling the land which used to be under 7 feet of water who is going to spend a fortune again on another land & what of the time it will take.Meanwhile the fortunate one will mint money by selling their land for non agricultural purposes.

What is the guarantee that no shopping mall or multiplex will not come up there?

Our per capita productivity in agriculture is the lowest else our farmers would not have been poor. At great cost to people left has come to know what is right. But in democracy it is not the majority will which prevails in the end the child who whines & cries most get the chocolate till the mother gets fed up & let him cry to his heart’s content.

I admit brute force does not work always & a consensus should have been built up in the first place. But it is very easy to be lavish with comments in hindsight.

The whole scene reminds me of a boring masala bollywood movie only the hall is empty & even gate keeper is yawning.

While I sign off I am humming
Ye safar bahut hai kathin magar
Na udaas ho mere humsafar
tu dhundh lega wo carvan nayee manjilain naya asmaan
Meri baat ka tu yakin kar na udaas……

Translation:
Oh fellow traveler this is a difficult journey but please do not be disappointed. This is a matter of time before you will find your way Pl do believe me & bid for the right time & keep trying never give up ever
Amen
I am sure our beloved CM will nod in approval.

Ratan Tata’s speech after the Trinamool supported agitation not to part with the remaining 400 acres was a harsh one but he did not have a choice, did he. Those framers would never produce ample from that 400 acre land and would thus continue to live a life of poverty. If the took the other option, they would have each got a hefty amount for selling the land and then they would have benefited with such a huge set-up cementing itself there. Mamta is a wicked female. She will remember these farmers until she succeeds in gaining power. Once she gets back into power, these farmers would be left on their own fate. Tata should move away from such a messy place where development is met with a sore eye.
Amazing how a 1500 crore project would have changed lives forever but then the people from Kolkotta have noone to blame but their stupid leaders. Mamta Banarjee is one of the most wicked female in Indian politics.

mamta will never get to power unless bengal is really unfortunate
i am studying jindal’s package but wonder how juicy is too sweet
no end to greed boss there has to be compassion & sensitivity but ultimately numbers matter the project was based on rock bottam numbers so no place to accomodate flab on a shilpa shetty belly
i just read that the people who have not accepted the compensation have only 80 acres out of which 200 acres in mother plant so is it opression of majority by minority
by taking to streets & disrupting life whose interests are being served
how 400a acres were calculated even didi does not know wish p c sarcar had an answer looks like a lamb is being burnt alive & vultures are all there to feast on biriyani which will be burnt so every one will go home hungry
long live nano ki nani

I am surprised that no one points fingers at WB government who unnecessarily revoked an age old land acquisation act and acquired land (that too far more than Nano project needed) in its own name and only leased out a fraction of it to TATA. Farmers didn’t get a fair deal like elsewhere in the country, thats the bottomline. Why expect generiosity from poor farmers in the name of development, when Left front is allowing many defunct factory lands to be developed into housing estates? They could have given one of those to Tata, istead of prime agricultural land.
Why should all crime and corruption be justified in the name of development?
All politicians are vultures where development is concerned our country.

laws are never cast in stone lots of land was needed which would have taken quite some time if procured by co
govt played an honest broker
true they were insensitive\arrogant
perhaps lesson has been learnt
had tatas known that things would have come this far they would have never come to bengal in any case when 600acre farmers have been paid for why 280 acre farmers wil stall the project
this way a small parcel owner can block\blackmail & no large project can come up
i have no link either with tata except some shares nor with left i have voted for tmc in the past

I think our democracy gives right to livelihood for all. Even one single farmer has a right to dissent. We can talk easily here because our livelihood is not at stake. These 280 acres is not any extra land that can be sold away, it sustains many families and landless labourers who toil on the land. Compensation is meagre and loses value in these times of inflation. They could have given some shares to farmers.

Yes, there will be development, there will be Nanos on the road and these farmers will be added as migrant and displaced labourers to our city and our national poverty statistics will not decrease but increase.

Large projects need good sensible planning and execution. Jindal didn’t face any problem because they didn’t leave any loopholes that could be politicised. Here WB government is to be blamed for such hurried planning...

jindal did not have the misfortune to be the pioneer if we have to move forward than once substantial resources have been committed to any project than unless the same is doomed it must not be blocked & lessons learnt should be used in future
if this project is blocked what happens to the farmers who have given 600 acres what about the shareholders of tata motors
what about the employees & ors directly\indirectly dependent on plant
do you supportblocking of highways & bandhs
pl do offer a solution to end the present stalmate in a viable & responsible manner
mr jindal may overstare the project cost or syphon off money or bribe his way through & pull a fast one not mr tata
i am not insinuating any thing & would like to invest in his co when ipo comes but the reputation of two can not be compared one is a professional co another family managed
have a bitten more than what i can chew my b....y tongue
hope no court case comes
my unconditional appology
jindal can be an example for future so is no no but can we afford to say no to nano at this stage
a father has to maintain an illegitimate child as well
no contl\alt\ del here
