It is good that NANO will enable a common person to realize his dream to have a mobile home away from home. But I think the dream will soon become a nightmare if not for maintenance than for the logistics problem like lack of parking space on road, traffic jam etc, apart from the rising cost of fuel.

It is like having a plane without a run way or traffic control or a corridor through which to navigate the plane. What we need is a good, safe & cheap public transport system. As also good roads & proper traffic control system.

May be roads can be auctioned to private parties who will be reimbursed out of the one time tax collected for the life of the vehicle or any other suitable means.

In metros there is rampant extortion by the hooligans of the motorists who park the car. Not only they have to pay an exorbitant charge the ruffians often abuse them.

I do hope a suitable answer is derived for these problems. Besides what we need is a cheap hybrid car which can run on battery. Reva despite being there for quite some time has not been popular.

In the long run there will be no option to public transport. The way population is flooding the cities unless a well thought out plan is executed in time we will be face to face with a catastrophe in not too distant future.
