As expected yesterday’s assault on congress MLAs by left has lead to wide spread violent protests throughout and Kolkata is braced with another Bandh tomorrow. Physical aggression has become the name of the game.
This happens when people lose faith in law of the land and the capacity of the state to administer the same. So the writ of the state no longer runs leading to non state actors flexing there muscle under the very nose of the state.
Yesterday also police meant to provide protection to MLAs remained a mute spectator. Perhaps they did not have the orders to intervene. Senior police officials did not take the call. Ultimately a call to CM only stirred the administration in to half hearted action.
The kangaroo court killing left leaders under the very nose of police is another such incidence. So are policemen who refused to provide protection to Prof. Sabharwal. All the eye witnesses turned hostile. Even the crucial camera footage was edited.
In short the prosecution was also the defense lawyer. Some time back a CEO was brutally killed by striking workers in Noida. The list is endless. There is no end to violence. TMC has shown this very well to left still, it is unwilling to learn. Just like a tiger can never turn vegetarian. I have no clue as to the shape of things to come. All I can say is that there are dark ominous clouds every where.

It is a sad news that murderers of prof. Sabarwal have been acquitted by the court.
What can we expect from judiciary?
