I have quoted the story of bhasmasur umpteen times in the context of indo pak relations. Well the chickens have come home to roost. The only solution I can find about Pakistan’s problem is a partition between hardliners & moderates.

Pakistan was a moderate country but thanks to General Jia hardliners were encouraged to grow & now genie can no longer be put down. The only other solution is to go hammer & tong after fundamentalists
Which will lead to ethnic genocide.

India never had aggressive designs towards Pakistan & I do not think they have a major role in the upsurge in fata. All India can do is to help the moderates in a non military way. So we can talk & discuss weather & cricket but I wonder if it will lead to any thing substantial.

But talk we must any thing is better than nothing
