Thankfully the fight between pilots and jet has come to an end. The forced truce seems deceptive. The guns may be silent but the gun powder is dry. Having tested blood and kept a united front I expect the pilots to raise the flag of revolt sooner rather than later. Soon they will be joined by other staff with politicians on their side. The jet management is skating on a thin ice with ruptured cash flow and bleeding balance sheet. There is only hope between sickness and jet.
Mr. Goyal will need all the resources at his command to tackle the fight at multiple fronts. The airline means his life for him and he is not going to let it go very easily. As his well wisher, I will advice him to sell off like Ranbaxy while the going is good. Am I sniffing the Ambani duo in the back ground waiting for the kill! With the resources at their disposal they can support the business and fight the militant unions with ease. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hope for the best for jet. It will be really sad if the emperor becomes a pauper Maharaja.
